Megan Workman is the price reporter and editor of recovered paper for Fastmarkets. Her responsibilities include writing for PPI Pulp & Paper Week, interviewing various CEOs and market players at top industry companies, crunching data, and visiting numerous mills and recycling and converting plants globally. Prior to joining Fastmarkets, Workman wrote about the scrap recycling industry with a focus on recycled paper and served as a business reporter for a local newspaper and a business journal.

Michael Timpane, Partner and Vice President, RRS

Michael Timpane has been a principal and the vice president of RRS for eight years. He has over 49 years of experience in recycling, including executive field operations and development for the largest recycling companies in North America. Timpane provides advice to the entire recycling supply chain from capital management to municipalities, brands, technology providers and material makers. His expertise includes landfill diversion technology, pricing, policy, facility development and finance. Timpane also specializes in understanding MSW, C&D, and compost material streams and offtake commodities. His affiliations include NWRA and ISRI MRF committees, and the Florida Hinkley Center Solid Waste Advisory Committee, among others.

Andrea Bassetti, Senior Analyst, Plastics Recycling, ICIS

Andrea Bassetti conducts research, data collection and analysis on recycling supply markets at ICIS. Together with her team, she focuses on maintaining a deep understanding of global recycling incentives and trends to provide a comprehensive overview of the market to clients and partners. Her focus is on the Americas market, conducting this work in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Prior to joining ICIS, Andrea was an impact data analyst at Fair Trade USA, where she was responsible for the collection, analysis and communication of both quantitative and qualitative sustainability data.

Craig Wittig, Vice President for Grant Implementation, The Recycling Partnership

Craig Wittig is the vice president for grant implementation at The Recycling Partnership. He has more than 25 years of recycling experience in the university, local government, private and nonprofit sectors. Wittig’s experience has revolved around program management including multifamily recycling, environmental education, electronics recycling, public school recycling, and commercial and industrial programs. Part of Wittig’s work involved collaborating with a variety of end users to market recyclable-grade fiber, plastic and metal. He now focuses efforts on residential recycling.
