Joseph England, Assistant Division Manager, Solid Waste Division of the City of Orlando

Joseph England is the assistant division manager for the Solid Waste Division of the city of Orlando. He is active in several professional solid waste organizations and currently acts as the chair of the Education and Planning Committee for Recycle Florida Today.

Emily LeMay, Program Coordinator, Recycling and Outreach Programs, Pinellas County Department of Solid Waste

Emily LeMay has been a public servant in the solid waste industry for over five years. She administers Pinellas Partners in Recycling (PPR), a regional advisory and networking group focused on recycling, waste reduction, and managing garbage as a resource. LeMay coordinates recycling outreach for Pinellas County, which includes a tour program for the county's Solid Waste Disposal Complex, and she also serves as chair of a PPR work group that is developing a Low Waste Event Guide.

Connie Lea, Special Projects Coordinator-Recycle Educator, Brevard County Solid Waste Management Department

As a special projects coordinator for the Brevard County Solid Waste Management Department, Connie Lea’s role is to educate citizens about proper recycling. This involves developing a variety of programs, speaking to various groups about the county’s single-stream recycling efforts and conducting landfill tours at the county’s central disposal facility. Lea began her career in banking and has worked as a branch manager, operations manager and trainer. She has also worked in local government as a treasury manager and a budget analyst, and has achieved the designation of Florida Certified Government Finance Officer.
